細腰貓（Puma yaguarondi），生墨西哥、中美南美的中野生貓科動物：體長65公（30英），長45公（20英）。牠著短的雙腳似水獺的臉龐；耳短短的且。皮點，顏色一致，且由黑色至灰色（灰階），由狐紅色至色（紅階）。這種色階一被認為表示種不的物種；灰階的稱為「Jaguarundi」，而紅階的稱為「Eyra」。但，牠一物種，而且一窩中，色階都能現。牠的皮除了生點，他的紋。這物種美洲獅的關係親近，依相似的造色體目；物種都「美洲金貓屬」，管細腰貓被類「細腰貓屬」這一不的，且直近，這物種都被「貓屬」之下。
一些西班牙語的裡，細腰貓也稱「Leoncillo」，「獅」。
