Please note that this bookmarklet does not work anymore on current browsers like Firefox, Konqueror, Opera, Safari etc. Last reports of function were on Internet Explorer 5.x and Netscape 4.x.

The link below is a Bookmarklet: a very short javascript program that is called from your Bookmarks (Netscape) or your Favorites (Internet Explorer).

Swine Fever is a content tester: All pictures on the current webpage will be replaced with pigtures when you press the Swine Fever button. With some pages it won't work, see below.

To include this into your browser, drag the link to your Personal Toolbar (Netscape) or your Link Bar (Internet Explorer). The Internet Explorer may warn you about bookmarking a script link, but you can be sure it will do no harm to you.

ACHTUNG!!! After the Pig Fertilisation Station of Weser Ems had removed the picture of the pig from their server, the pig was missing for some time. But just today, 24.04.2001, a backup copy of the picture was found in Alvar's flat. The picture now resides on a-blast.org, so please re-install the bookmarklet. Thank you.

Internet Explorer or Netscape, both version 4 or above, are required. Switch Javascript on.

Swine Fever will not work at all on Macintosh Netscape.

With Internet Explorer you might get error messages on pages with Frames or IFrames, if these frames contain pages from different servers than the main page. With Netscape these error messages are supressed, but the swines still won't show up.
